Bamboo was selected as the winner of two Gold and one Silver Stevie® Award in The 17th Annual International Business Awards®. Bamboo won Gold in the Tech Start Up of the Year (Hardware and Peripherals) and Energy Innovation of the Year categories and Silver in the Startup of the Year (Business Products) category. Accepting the awards is Tony Craythorne, CEO of Bamboo Systems.
Tony brings over 25 years of experience leading high growth companies in the USA, Europe and Asia. Most recently he was Senior Vice President Worldwide Sales at Komprise where he built a new sales strategy, new sales team, channel strategy and lead gen leading to record revenues with $ millions of growth YOY. Prior to Komprise he held senior management positions at a number of companies including Nexsan, Brocade, Hitachi Data Systems, Nexgen (acquired by Pivot 3), Bell Micro and Connected Data.
John helped to found Bamboo and is a recognized leader in the computer science community. He was with Microsoft Corp. as group program manager and ARM Ltd as Director of Technology and Systems. He is also professor of Computer Architectures at Manchester University leading and participating EU projects. His contribution is crucial to Bamboo for the definition of the long-term strategy and new products.
Vicki is a seasoned technology industry expert instrumental in building some of the most innovative and progressive marketing teams in Silicon Valley over the past 25 years. She has held senior management positions at numerous companies, including Nexsan, Gridstore, Quantum, EMC, and Legato (acquired by EMC).
Andy brings over 20 years of experience building and leading sales organizations and channel relationships, delivering growth in businesses from the startup level to the >$100M revenue range. He has held senior leadership positions previously at Komprise, Nexsan, Sungard Availability Services and VERITAS.
Stewart comes to Bamboo with over 20 years' experience in industrial operations at both a managerial and executive level. He was VP of Operations with Nexsan from 2001 until 2019 when he became COO at Bamboo. Additionally his experience in managing operations in startups that have grown to $100M+ in revenues is a great value add to the company.
Mike is a finance professional with over 20 years' experience in senior management, strategy and investor relations. Starting his professional career with Philips Electronics in Cambridge where he led the finance operations for several business groups before going on to work in a number of blue-chip companies in differing sectors before returning to the technology sector through a senior position at Broadcom then finally Bamboo Systems.
